FORTUNE FAVOURS

Much like the story of some of NZ’s best breweries, Fortune Favours is the tale of a group of people who gave up their day jobs and took the leap to go out on their own. Located in Wellington and nestled down in Leeds Street, Fortune Favours is a brew pub that stands on the site of an old industrial building that was saved and restored by the Fortune Favours team. Founding brewer Shannon Thorpe teamed up with Wellington Hospitality veterans Andrew Williams and Jamie Williams. They convinced award-winning brewer Dale Cooper to quit his day job and join them on this venture and together they formed Fortune Favours.

Brewing on site and operating as a brew pub serving delicious food and fresh beer, Fortune Favours has become a staple of the Wellington bar scene. In August, they celebrated their first birthday, coincidentally timed with Beervana, it was an epic weekend of partying and great beer!

Fortune Favours boasts an impressive core range, coming in 330ml cans and covered with attractive and eye-catching branding. The Naturalist Unfiltered Pale Ale, The Oregonian American Amber, The Adventurer Green Bullet Pilsner and the Wellingtonian NZ IPA makes up the current core 4, with MANY more fresh brews available in keg. Also dabbling in cider, The Sunchaser Blueberry cider has recently been released in 330ml bottle 6pks. Summer in a bottle!
